Around the House (7-8 Months)

I'm very sweet and peaceful when I'm sleeping. But that's rare, mind you. I'm already down to one nap a day and I'm only 7 months old here. And I'm not exactly a championship sleeper at night, either. It's how I guarantee I get enough attention to compete with my sister.
Mommy got a new double stroller for me and Mia! I love it! And she got me new shades, too!
Mommy's friend from the UK, Miss Em, came mid-March for a visit. She LOVED me. (I kinda loved her too. And it wasn't just because she brought me this cute stuffed bunny. But that didn't hurt.)

I'm *this* close to crawling. Except I don't think I'll bother with it. I would rather stand and walk. Crawling is for babies.
For example, who crawls when they send email?
Mommy loves that it's finally getting warmer! On St. Patrick's Day it was warm enough to just hang out in my diaper (nobody pinch me, I have a nice green outfit I'm about to change into).

Tub Time (7 Months)

I'm big enough to sit by myself in the tub now! This is a major development because now my sister and I are double trouble.

Fun times in the B-tub.
It's probably gonna be awhile before I am this accomplished with letters.
Or with soap suds.

Seven Month Photoshoot

Six Month Photoshoot

Getting bigger every day! I am a girl of many faces...

Check out my two lower chompers! They are why Mommy and Daddy are so tired lately.

Food is Fun!

When it comes to eating, I'm a big fan. To be this big this young, you have to eat like it's a competitive sport.
Once I got purees down, it was time to move on to the big dogs - puffs.

And for teething, there's nothing like frozen carrots. These carrots put up a good fight, but I won.

Five Month Photo Shoot

Mommy did a little impromptu photo shoot in early January to celebrate my being 5 months old...
I do a great job sitting up!

Wintertime Antics of the Littlest Haws

(A smattering of photos from December to February chez Haws)
Winter at my house means a lot of playing. Sometimes by myself...
...sometimes with my dog...
...and sometimes with Grams and Mia.
My big sister reads me books. She is very ethical. Sometimes it's not what I want to hear.
Even if I can't stomach her taste in literature, she loves me very much.
I like to be near her, even when she's preoccupied.
When people aren't paying enough attention to me, I get myself into trouble, like when I got into Mommy's recipe cards.
Actually, it was her whole purse.
Mommy got a new flash for Christmas and it makes her pictures look like it's daytime inside even when it's nighttime - how crazy is that?!? I just like to watch the light bounce off the ceiling.
